The day after the OS landed, the terminal filled up with things to actually do.
If 2.5.0 built the vault, 2.6.0 stocked it. This is the content release: skill-book and magazine trackers, a real crafting bench with station-grouped recipes and live have/need checks, a traits subsection, Fallout 3's Lincoln Memorabilia, and a large expansion of each game's reference data sourced from the Fallout wiki — so the AI knows more and autocomplete suggests more. The Vault 13 Canteen quietly appears in your pack when you start a new New Vegas campaign, and collectibles began lighting up their region on the world map.
Two things make this more than a data dump. First, the two-game discipline sharpens: panels finally show the data for the game you're actually playing — Fallout 3's Big Guns instead of New Vegas skills, the right location list, the right factions — and switching games finally survives a reload. Second, the corrections. Faction rep stopped leaping straight to Idolized, S.P.E.C.I.A.L. fields stopped fighting you mid- type, and a guard went in against duplicate catalog entries. The pattern of ship content, then immediately harden it against its own edge cases is visible in a single release here.
