# CHASSIS — Self-Diagnostic Maintenance Bay (mockup for owner sign-off) **Files:** `chassis-diagnostic.html` + the `chassis-*.png` shots. The CHASSIS subsystem (`[5]`, `data-tab="chassis"`) ground-up — the machine reporting on ITSELF. BUS series continues: **BUS-22…24**. Same chrome as every shipped subsystem (Protocol 22). **Query params:** `?chassis=core|rack` · `?faults=0`. ## The boards - **BUS-22 UNIT POWER PLANT** — the `overseerLogDisplay` telemetry as **industrial hour meters**: drum-style digit wheels (split-line flip look), a live amber tenths drum on CURRENT SITTING (ticks every second in the mock; at build the shipped 1s `renderOverseerLog` refresh drives it) and on the lifetime TOTAL POWER-ON meter, LONGEST SESSION, and IGNITIONS (boot counter). **The style choice:** `?chassis=core` adds a **live fusion core** centerpiece (three counter-rotating dashed rings + a pulsing heart, "SUSTAINED CELL — LIVE DRAW") with the meters docked beside it; `?chassis=rack` is the pure **industrial meter rack** (no core, 2×2 counter hardware). - **BUS-23 IDENTITY PLATE & BREAKERS** — the `systemStatusDisplay` firmware/cache readout as a **stamped, riveted steel serial plate** (etched MODEL RIT-V300 / FIRMWARE v2.7.0 / CACHE REV robco-terminal-v2.7.0-r94 / STORAGE rows — deliberately physical-metal, not phosphor), plus **breaker switches** for CARRIER (amber wire lamp, lever up = ONLINE) and each feature flag (AI CHAT / CLOUD SYNC, green ENABLED / red DISABLED with lever down). Noted as read-outs of the remote kill-switch flags — users never throw them. - **BUS-24 SERVICE & FAULT CONSOLE** — the two buttons dressed as their own instruments: the **REVISION LOG spool** (spinning reel + "CURRENT: v2.7.0" + PULL REVISION LOG key → `_svcViewChangelog()` unchanged) and the amber **FAULT ANNUNCIATOR** (pulsing fault lamp, big buffered-fault counter, last-fault line, "buffered locally, never transmitted" note, OPEN FAULT LOG key → `showErrorLog()` unchanged). `?faults=0` shows the nominal state (green lamp, `00`, "UNIT NOMINAL"). ## Contract + floor rules Reskin only at build: `systemStatusPanel` keeps `overseerLogDisplay` + `systemStatusDisplay` (template edits to `renderOverseerLog`/`renderSystemStatus`), `btnViewChangelog`/`btnSystemStatusErrorLog` handlers unchanged. All values are device/OS telemetry — zero game literals (Protocol 38). Live 0i summary rows on all three boards (fault state flips the row/LED); copper connectors `background-repeat:round`; centering rule (meter bank, breaker rack, service cells); all motion (core spin/pulse, reel, lamp pulses, tenths drum) plain animations / reduced-motion-gated; ≥28px keys; no scroll regions needed (three bounded boards); zero overflow + zero console errors verified at 360/412/1440. ## Screenshots | Group | Paths | | --- | --- | | CORE variant (fusion core + meters) | `chassis-core-{360,412,desktop}.png` | | RACK variant (pure meter rack) | `chassis-rack-{360,412,desktop}.png` | | Fault annunciator · nominal | `chassis-core-412-nominal.png` |
