Current structure is in `library/CODE_MAP.md`; rules are in `CLAUDE.md` + `rules/`.* ## Why the owner wanted it — still true, still the argument for doing it again He kept hitting **mobile-only bugs one at a time** and reporting them individually. The insight behind this audit was that a trickle of one-off responsive bugs is a signal to do **one systematic pass that catches them all at once**, rather than paying the round-trip cost per bug. If that trickle ever starts again, that is the tell. **Mobile is the primary surface, not the secondary one.** This is used mostly as an installed app on a phone; desktop is also supported but does not set the defaults. See [[primary-users-devices]]. ## ⭐ The rule the OPTICS incident left behind A label-wrap bug was fixed for one width and **broke the other width in the process**. Hence the standing discipline: **every responsive fix must be verified at mobile AND desktop before it counts as done**, and the verification must be stated explicitly. It is not enough that the reported symptom is gone — a responsive fix that is only checked where the bug was reported is how you trade one bug for another. The corollary is that scoped CSS fixes are only "safe" once checked at all widths; anything requiring a layout restructure is a spec-first job, not a quick fix.
