# Archive artifacts retained by the additive-only rule These `planning/` (ARCHIVE-class) files exist in this backup but are NO LONGER present in the owner's working `planning/` folder. The sync keeps them on purpose: once an audit/mockup/plan/slate is captured it is never removed, so the owner can clear planning/ after a doc has served its purpose without losing the record.
